Sharing the Love of Jesus

Our class has been busy sharing Jesus' love with those around us!  Recently, we sang a song at the beginning of our church's Abundant Life service.  This service happens once a month and is for members of our congregation who may have difficulty coming to church on a regular basis.  We shared the love of Jesus with them through song!

We also recently shared the love of Jesus with member's of our congregation who are away at college.  Our church sends care packages to college students 4 times a year and we made Valentine's that will be included in the next care package they will receive.  Mrs. Ray and Mrs. Counts from St. John's brought in some fun craft supplies for us make the cards extra special.  We pray the cards help the college students remember they are dearly loved by Jesus.

Lego WeDo Fun

We have been having fun this week with the Lego kits we have on loan from the Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA).  Mr. Charlesworth came in to work with our class and gave everyone a challenge:  Build and code a vehicle that can push the ball across the mat and into the box. We worked on this challenge for two days, building vehicles and coding them.  It was fun, but challenging!

Christmas Party

Friday, December 20 was our last day of school before Christmas break.  We got to wear our festive holiday clothes, enjoyed a christmas sing along in the sanctuary and of course had a PARTY!  Thank you to all the parents who organized and helped with the party. It was a blast.  Merry Christmas!
